The Steeper Linear Transducer provides proportional servo control to the Espire Pro and Espire Hybrid elbows.

The device consists of a linear potentiometer in a small housing with an attached Bowden sheath. A Spectra cord exits the sheath and is supplied with a plastic hanger for attaching to the patient's harness. Pulling this cord changes the resistance of the pontentiometer, thus changing the speed and position of the device.
